Terrible I live I. Camas WA where he grew up as a kid. They had a touching tribute to him today. Very sad

Absolutely horrific situation.
These two guys are private pilots who have YouTube channels where they discuss all fatal crashes, not just this one, using stuff that I guess only pilots have access to. They’re respected in the aviation world. They looked at this crash and while they made no conclusions I found the discussion fascinating. (Warning: Lots of aviation jargon and they are both pretty dry.)

Horrible way to die but I can only hope they were gone before the fire consumed that plane. Given a choice, I'd much rather die from blunt force trauma than burn to death.
