So, who is most likely to get screwed by the new playoff format?

I have to go with Gordon. I feel like he could have a solid run in the chase, but with the new format could get screwed by one wreck/ equip failure, etc.

JR is having a great season, but he never seems to do well in the chase races (with out looking up the numbers). Therefore, it is hard for me to think JR gets screwed, when he wouldn't be my favorite to win the old chase.

Bad Brad and Jimmie are too likely to win a race and advance, imo.

Had this year's rules been in place last year, Junior would have won the championship

I was just about to say that, but you beat me to it. I think Jr finished in the top 3 the last 3 or 4 chase races.

Because they're so easy to win right? If not for the points change he'd have a couple more cup championships.

Decent huh? The cup points leader is decent. Lulz.

Umm no. You should read up on HMS before Gordon got there.

the restart problems are clearly due to him

He's restarting just fine.

In 1992, Hendrick had one of the top 4 teams, and was 1 of only 3 multi-car teams.

Junior's finishes in the last 9 Chase races last year:

6th
2nd
8th
15th
2nd
8th
2nd
4th
3rd

Average finish of 5.6

Junior will be a factor, barring a wreck or mechanical failure

I still wouldn't feel like he was "screwed" if he didn't win it. But after reading this article about who would have won under 2014 format: LINK

JR would have won the championship last year, without winning a single chase race. Definitely putting more emphasis on wins.

With out the rules change he would have had at least one more driving championship.

How many other drivers are using Hendrix equipment?

I don't see how he can see over the steering wheel. He's like 5 ft. tall or something like that

He's around 6 ft, I think. Wouldn't look like such a block if he had a neck.

I think I'm the only person here that likes the guy.
