Everyone from Coach Bill McCartney to every team member knew what was happening at the time. Before the baby was born, that selfish POS Aunese discussed the pregnancy with the coach and told him, "Well, coach, I'm NOT gonna marry her". And wimp coach McCartney went along with that.

McCartney's daughter was a noted slut who after Sal Aunese's death got pregnant by another of her dad's players and had another baby.

"Gave himself some kind of rare stomach cancer worrying about it all." Are you serious? Not only did he not worry about it all, it's not as if that would give you cancer.

McCartney himself was a piece of work, couldn't control what was going on with his players and his daughter under his own roof, he goes on to form the pseudo-christian "Promise Keepers" movement for men. Hypocritical hogwash.

And don't get me started on how Colorado and McCartney used Aunese's death as a contrived 'inspiration' in 1990, and were gifted half of a national championship, after winning a game they should have lost with a 5th down. And of course this was McCartney's reaction to it:

Not sure where you perceive this big difference between what you posted and what I posted, except maybe for the connection I drew between the cancer and the pregnancy (which WAS secret from the coach for months, and WAS NOT on the public's radar until very late- remember, no internet).

If you've never seen a man have his stomach wrecked by worrying, well, I'm happy for you, but it does happen.

The girl was a slut? Yeah, when you're letting Daddy's QB secretly mmmmmcreampie you, you pretty much are. I mentioned she was attractive, but I didn't mean to endorse or excuse anything. Just trying to paint a picture.

And I think we agree everyone involved is gross: the HC, the daughter, Aunese... the Colorado fans and media who tried to turn it into some weird Samoan creampie version of Rudy. I was a teenager at the time, and a Nebraska fan, and the whole thing just disgusted me.
