At best I can say I didn't have to pay to read it.

Why not get him the top o-lineman available and hope for Etienne later in the round? Then if Darnold still sucks, he’s officially done.

Gross.

They’ve had the guy in the building for 3 years now, they should know what he is.

You’re likely just delaying the inevitable and setting yourself up for another top 5 pick in a weaker QB class next year.

If they think Wilson is a franchise QB it would be silly to not take him, and if they don’t, then it would be silly not to trade down to one of the many teams who would love to get in that top 4

To be fair to Darnold, he wasn't exactly set up for success w/the last staff. In fact, he was set up to fail. I'd be willing to see how he does w/the new staff before closing the book on him.

I think he needs to go to a team where he can sit for a year and regain his confidence. I always hoped the Steelers would trade for him.

WR's always mocked, never drafted by GB. I would actually be a little upset if they did take one this year. Would much prefer a CB or OL the first round. DT is also a need, but this draft if pretty weak for that.

And if they feel that way, it would still be poor roster management to take a non QB with the #2 pick given the market for a top 4 pick in this draft

That's not a bad idea.

Fair. But I'd still be willing to give him a shot w/the new staff.

To add to my point, their unwillingness to talk about trading that second pick should tell you all you need to know to whether they are going to go QB or give Darnold another shot (they are not)

They have Hockenson. The lions aren’t taking Pitts.
