he's been integral to the business and responsible for a lot of its success. he probably gets catered to more than Shaun Livingston or Kevon Looney.
Irrelevant with regard to his grasp of the English language or context.

that would make him relevant on the topic, yes.
No, he's an ignorant person on this topic who happens to be black. His ethnicity doesn't lend him special powers to redefine common words.

How is anyone directly effected by this?

Sorry. Had to do it. Spelling Bee was just the other day so I have to flash the bona fides, you understand
And commenting on the absurdity of his ideas doesn't mean it directly affects me or anyone else. Hell, he can call team owners Cheese & Sprinkles and it wouldn't make me mad. But I will say how ridiculous it is for him to take issue with a benign business term and attempt to link it to chattel slavery.

it just exposes people for what they are to be against a pretty innocuous change that a lot of NBA viewers won't even notice

Oh brother, you're using that terminology unironically.
What does "woke" mean to you? Please expound upon this nonsense.

You mean this one?
quote:
A word currently used to describe "consciousness" and being aware of the truth behind things "the man" doesn't want you to know i.e. classism, racism, and any other social injustices. The term comes from a genuine place but is becoming overused. People mainly use it to sound like deep thinkers when they are really just following a trend.
