Tough way for the Kings to earn the first point of the season with an OTL after leading late in the game. The bad news is the loss, the good news is the play was much better overall this last game. With Willie Mitchell back in the lineup, winning will happen.

Quick played one hell of a game last night. Edmonton's resilience was amazing too. The Oilers are a hard team to root against with their youthful energy they bring.

Screw that. They ALWAYS scout well and bring in great young players that may/may not stick around.
That early mid 80's Oiler dynasty with Gretz, Kurri, Messier, Coffey, Fuhr... just insane "youthful energy". It took a Miracle on Manchester for the Kings to dethrone them, and miracles are hard to come by. I HATE their "youthful energy"
...but I respect the hell out of that franchise.
