i'm in an annual league with my uncle and some of his friends and it works really well...about 35 people total and it costs $150 per season...you get to pick ANY 10 CFB games you want to pick from...ANY 10. ATS...each game is worth 1 point then you have a designated LOCK of the week worth 2 points
the person with the best weekly record wins 100 bucks...then the top 5 pay out at the end of the year...usually takes 8 9 or 10 points to win the weekly one...and every now & then someone will go 10-0 which in that case you get another 100 bucks for being perfect...regardless, it's a lot of fun...just throwing some ideas out there

best way is to go with paying for the whole year upfront (+ cost of office pool)
deposit goes in league safe, we keep track of winnings and at the end of the year payouts will be made accordingly.
in order to receive an invite from leaguesafe an email must be sent out to each memeber and then they will pay by e-check (routing number and account number on bottom of checks).

why don't we take everyone's money, open a bank account, the put all the money in a CD...let it earn 1.2% no one can touch it...then pay out when it's over

i think there should be a prize for the overall winner---gives people more incentive to play instead of backing out half-way through---
