Movement to stop Seahawks from celebrating their fans as “12s”

I was listening to AM radio here and there are apparently activists trying to get the Seahawks to stop using the moniker “Twelves” and the iconic “12” banners for the fans because “12” is also now synonymous with Police. Supposedly the Seahawks have been in touch with them and have promised they are reviewing this.

The Sounders fan base sums up Seattle to me. Anytime you see one of their games on the “ultras” are about what you would expect.
