Robert Irsay - Baltimore
when irsay lay in the ICU at the end of his life, there were stories that a # of baltimore fans sent flowers w/ something along the lines of "i hope you die slowly and painfully" and "i hope the doctors rip your heart out the way you ripped out ours". that's hate.
i'm sure cleveland fans will show modell the same treatment.
it's interesting you always hear O'Malley's name brought up in Brooklyn, but never the Giants ownership for leaving for SF at the same time.
i'm surprised we haven't had some soccer dudes chime in yet

Close, But not as bad as MODELL!!! May he rot in hell.
Kind of depends on who you are asking. I can think of about 4 million Houstonians who would disagree with you
Doesn't Adams still live in Houston?
If Modell had returned to Cleveland he might very well have been killed

True, but I know a lot of people that were furious.

Tubberville - Oxford, MS
Rick Pitino - Lexington, KY
Bidwell was pretty hated in St. Louis when the Cardinals left for Arizona.

Who did Lebron betray? I'm confused.
I agree. He did a job and got paid for it. His contract expired and he's leaving for what he considers as a better opportunity. I wonder how many tards who are whining about "betrayal" would stay at their job out of loyalty if a better opportunity came their way.

Players leaving is far different from owners moving teams
Lebron's shitty move was the TV show

It's funny how when athletes leave for more money people talk shite, the guy left for less money to get a ring. At least he's not doing what most MLB players do, leave for MORE money to get a RING. He left for less money and people are bashing him.

If the media was jocking your every move at age 25 you wouldn't do a 1hr special if you had the chance?? Don't get mad at him because people made him out to be the GREAT NBA SUPER DUPER ATHELTE and gave him a big head.

Pitino and Saban both have similar levels of hate, probably. It may actually be worse for Pitino.
Modell and Irsay are probably at the top, along with Clay Bennett.

I think Cleveland fans have a right to be resentful, but OK. I just don't want to hear any complaints this August about Brett Favre -- Decision In Hattiesburg.

I should point out that O'Malley clearly made the right business decision, no matter how much he "betrayed" Brooklyn.
Modell is a different case b/c the problems with the Browns were mostly his fault.

Where will Donavon McNabb or Lane Kiffin eventually stand in all of this?

Donovan wanted to stay in Philly they just hated him anyways.

Do Packer fans really hate Brett Fav-ruh like now? Depending on how long he stays on the Vikes, I'm thinking the ill will could fester pretty quickly.
