At that time the AFC was far inferior. The real championship was the NFCCG.

The Bills were simply consistently outclassed. They were never royally fricked like that.

Wouldn’t the Oilers losing to Denver and Buffalo in back to back playoff games be the right answer?

Well, the way Cleveland lost to Denver in two consecutive playoff exits is pretty bad.

They never recovered.
