I, personally, think Rivers is an idiot. Great quarterback, shitty fricking attitude.

Terell Owens. I used to think he was awesome talking trash since he was the best WR in the NFL. It's not the case now.

personally, he looks like he won the lottery every time he gets a first down, which I can understand for the first couple of breakout games you have, but come on, when you're a Pro Bowler, you should be used to that... that's about all I can think of, but it is a tad annoying
don't really get the Ochocinco thing, I find him hilarious... at least he's creative, TO used to be funny sometimes but he's just annoying now so I'll say TO

Cutler is a douche.
Rivers a close second.
Even though he's retired Michael Strahan annoyed the hell put of me.

Peyton Manning. Not that I don't like him, its just that he takes too damn long to snap the ball with all his audibles. Half the time I think he's just doing it for show.

Austin went to tiny Monmouth University (it used to be Monmouth College when my brother taught there in the 70's). It's in New Jersey, and is a small (4,000 students) liberal arts school which only started football in the 90's. Their stadium only holds 4,500 -- and that's not a misprint.
Understandably, from such a small school, Austin wasn't even given a look after college. It's pretty amazing he caught on with the Cowboys and stuck around on their special teams this long until he got his chance.
I get your take on his on-field stuff, but was just curious if there was something else.

I agree. There is something about the way he talks that hurts my ears. I can't quite put my finger on exactly why but he just irritates me with his speech and mannerisms.

A good bit the the time, Manning's long snap count routine is not for show, but instead to try to get the defense to tip their hand by pre-snap movement -- maybe to a blitz or to 2 deep zone or man-to-man coverage, or one-on-one coverage on Dallas Clark.
Other qbacks have caught on and are doing it too-- Rivers does it all the time--even mimics the pointing to the defenders like Manning does.

Miles Austin is and has been a class act in Dallas, and his story is a good one; his stardom has not gone to his head at all, as his humility has remained intact. I'm glad he's a Cowboy, as he mentions hard work as often as he smiles.
