I'm going watch The Sopranos; I'll read the ATL fan stupidity in the morning.

Rentals like Leake, Kennedy, etc will go for peanuts.

I was hoping they could package Leake/Bruce or Leake/Chapman for a nice prospect bat or two. But when i heard that Walt was asking for the top 3-4 prospects (depending on the team) for Chapman alone, I just laughed.

Im a fan of Nick WIlliams. Alfaro is good too, but we'll see how he bounces back from the injury.

Hard to believe no other team could not beat that package. Wonder if he flexed that veto power in deals to HOU or CHC, who probably had better packages on the table

Im almost positive that this is the case. Both organizations could easily beat that offer without missing a beat.

Williams will be a top 30 prospect by years end. There are people who prefer him over Mazara because of his all around game.

Yeah, the Phils still made out all right. Williams and Alfaro will be decent big leaguers.

Who knows what HOU offered, but I figured it couldve started with Brett Phillips and maybe Appel. Cubs with a combo of Baez, Gleyber Torres, McKinney Edwards etc. Who knows what they were willing to give up, though

I can't peg the value of Baez at all right now, both in IRL MLB trade talk and fantasy talk.
