Showboating? Staring down the pitcher running to first? Jawing at the pitcher in the process?

That either gets you 1.) A confrontation at home or the more popular 2.) a fastball in the back next at bat.

Pretty simple and standard, most go with the fastball in the back, though.

Both are WELL warranted in the classic unwritten rules of baseball, for that performance by Mr. Gomez.

The point is that teammates love Gomez, which is all that matters. I remember watching a Bob Uecker special on MLBN, and he absolutely loved Cargo.

If Gomez was a Card, then you would slurp his dick. Of course, you are going to claim that the Cards only have high-class players, but sweep Taveras under the rug.

Isn't Cespedes a FA next year? That fact alone makes him more viable to a team trading.

I think that fact makes Gomez more valuable. He isn't just a rental. He is under contract well below market value next year.

Yup. Gomez is really cheap for 2016 as well. I think he is the most attractive position player available.

Then you don't know me very well, I would hate Harper or Gomez on my team for the same reason I greatly dislike Jhonny Peralta from PEDs on my team. Nothing you can do about it, doesn't mean you have to like them.

Cannot stand any player with on field antics/cocky attitude/drama like those guys.

Play the game with class like 99% of the other players.

Those might be LITERALLY the worst gifs to try and prove your point in the history of the internet.

Postseason emotion =/= showboating staring down homeruns mouthing off to pitchers.

That is too shiny of a hook. I recommend you attend a class or two at the MizzouKills School of Trolling.

Is there no such thing as in-season emotion?

Gomez is having a pretty bad season based on his recent track record. He turns 30 in December and prior to the last 2 years he has never hit 20+ home runs. He strikes out a lot and doesn't walk that much either...

Yoenis is similar and the main issue is the position they play where Gomez is 10x better...

Me too, they aren't having fun during most antics, those are done out of frustration more than anything else.

To each his own, I'm old school about baseball to the core.

Quite a big difference in those gifs.

Yeah, UltimateHog is better at player projections than ZIPS and Steamer. Sure.

You mean Yoenis' rookie year and 2nd year versus years 6-8 for Gomez? Is that surprising?

Give me a freaking break. They are the same age, you like Cespedes was straight out of HS.

Didn't say that, I don't use projections much at all, hence the lol because you think that actually has any substance at all.

So you think a guy that has 3 years of experience is equal to someone with 8 and comparing their last couple of seasons is fair? I sure don't.
