Both teams have a couple Japanese players and Japan LOVES baseball. All of the Japanese players that have come over have been great ambassadors to the game. Ichiro beat Shoeless Joe Jackson’s rookie hit record and the one thing he wanted to do is go visit Cooperstown to connect with the history he became a part of.
