I don’t know what the metrics say but my impression is he’s been at least average this season. but that’s a season back breaking type throw

Doesn’t he lead all SS in errors?

Hes graded out very average this year iirc

Which is fine when he puts up a damn near 180 wRC+

Nothing wrong with his bat, but he probably should be playing 2B

He probably would be a more natural 3rd baseman but its hard to duplicate the value you get from league average shortstop defense with that insane level of offense

But you could still get that at 2B/3B with a better SS.

Rangebaws win a great ball game in Arlington. Bullpen showed up.

#BlueJays starter Yusei Kikuchi thinks he’ll be fine for his next start after he left the game with cramps. The biggest revelation was that he said it may have been caused by only getting 11 (!) hours of sleep last night instead of his usual 13 or 14 hours (!!)

Rangers’ prospect and former Florida Gator Wyatt Langford gets 4 hits and a stolen base in his AAA debut. I’m excited to see him in a Rangers uniform next year.

When he was playing against LSU I wasn’t a huge fan, but I’ve decided to let go of that old shite now that he’s a Ranger.

The kid can flat out hit

Langford, Carter, and Garcia would be a solid outfield next year.

Rangers are killing the ball. They have 15 runs so far through 6 against Boston.

I’ve got it on my laptop at work. It’s crazy how good that lineup can be when they’re all healthy.

Hunter Greene tossed a career high 14Ks in 7 innings in an absolute gem, then the Reds bullpen comes in and squanders a 3-1 lead to Minnesota. Reds lose 5-3.

Currently 1.5 out of Wild Card. Gonna need some help at this juntmcture to make playoffs.

8 of the 9 starters had an RBI. 5 of the 9 had multiple RBIs. Maybe the best offensive output since the beginning of August. If the lineup is going to get hot, this is the time. Especially Seattle coming in this weekend.

On another note, Gray has really fallen off over his last few starts. Not sure if something is going on but he is not pitching good.

They’ll need him to step his game up for sure.
