Cleveland offense is like watching paint dry. Just waiting for one of their 37 pop ups to bloop in.

Yeah they’re a very poor offensive team.

Costos calls the game like he’s a one man crew

Let the color guy get a word in sometimes

our offense is what keeps us from dominating the central and keep that longest World Series Champ drought in place. But I have hopes for the future. Not over yet but it's going to be tough to get past the Astros if we somehow find a way to win this game.

Even hall of fame coaches make mistakes, which I think starting Civale was but I don't know if a pure Bullpen was a great option either, we have a deep bullpen but can our bullpen completely shut down the Yankees. Which they have to do now.

edit: I hate these announcers.

Easy for me to say with 20/20 hindsight, but I think you roll Civale in against the bottom of the order and keep him in on a short leash if you get through that. Start one of your better relievers (maybe Stephan) for an inning or two

and if he dominates for an inning or two, they say Tito is a Genius. Everything get's criticized on a stage this big.

Yeah for sure. I just don’t think he’s the quality of guy that’s actually gonna give you length, so night as well roll him against the bottom of the order and see what he can give you. Again, easy for me to say now that he failed

It'll take 6+ runs to win this game. Goodnight Cleveland.

If we don't find a way to scratch across some runs soon, I think this game was decided last night. Cortes wouldn't have started today if we played last night. I hate how the Yankees get all the advantages even when they don't have to.

4 run deficit? Don't count out Cleveland just yet. I hope they make it a close one at least.

I haven’t but it’s not going to be easy with the way our offense struggles

What's Tito's rationale for not starting Bieber?

My guess is he didn’t want to pitch him on short rest because of past injury history and it would put us in bad shape for the Astros series.
