If Felipe Rivero has a dominant first half, the sky is the limit for what he can return at the deadline.

Of course he is controllable forever, so they probably won't move him.

Also Howie Kendrick back to the Nats. So they basically have the exact same team they had a year ago, just with Taylor instead of Werth (upgrade).

Catcher is a disaster for that team, but otherwise they look really good (again).

I can't get behind SF in that division, even with this move. Melancon looked like a guy who's lost "it" to me.

They are counting on a lot of old dudes. I feel like best case scenario for the Giants is losing in the NLDS

Cutch needs another year like last
Posey needs to stay healthy
Belt needs to stay healthy
Pence needs to stay healthy and produce

Madison needs to pitch well and stay healthy
Johnny needs to pitch well

they have ALOT of question marks but it does improve the team and probably brings in more fans

The exact return heading back to Pittsburgh remains unknown, though none of Chris Shaw, Tyler Beede or Heliot Ramos are in the trade

Well this is good... but WTF are the Pirates doing, just stacking the farm but not getting high ceiling players?

Bryan Reynolds? I mean they were never going to get a ton for Cutch with only one year of control left

LOL

And that is an awful big Center field for Cutch to be running every home game. And there are questions about his legs, and how long before they finally give out.

Giants are old, have NO prospects, and really should of been selling off pitchers and players to rebuild, they need it.

Between Cole and McCutchen the results will be underwhelming if I was a Pirates fan... I feel bad for arguing with the guy yesterday now. He has a reason to be depressed.

They should have gotten more for Cole. As an Astros fan I was shocked at the package we gave up
