Is it safe to say that the cubs will have another uneventful offseason?

Depends what you mean by uneventful

Seems like all signs are pointing to them trading Bellinger

Sounds like they are making an earnest attempt to land Tucker as well. Of the teams rumored to be in on him I like the options they have to offer the most, and it appears he is going somewhere

Believe it when I see it

But it needs to happen

And it will be easy to pull against him

Also, I don't think his value depreciates much waiting until the Deadline, b/c someone will overpay at that point. Nobody's overpaying now.

well, I hope not but probably so. We did get Imanaga last year, so I wouldn't call that totally uneventful and I was actually excited about Neris who probably could not have been worse had he tried, very disappointing.

So the Sox kept Anthony, Mayer and Campbell.

Have Crochet for 2 years under control for cheap.

For a team that hasn't done shite in a few years. It's not a bad deal to get a lefty starter and keep your top 3 prospects including the no.1 overall mlb prospect.

Deal depends on how good Monty is as Teel will most likely start next yr.
