Nice little deal for ZG, gets to go back to where it all started and has a good group of young arms that he gets to work with.

If he stays healthy he will do well. His numbers naturally dipped from going from chicago to san Francisco but he was still pretty decent. This works for him but I just dont get what colorado is doing

Spending on a player to make it look like they care rather than tearing everything down like some teams

Between trading arenado, not trading story at the deadline, this, they are just being a weird wild card

Wtf are the Rockies doing?

February 2019: Nolan Arenado signs an 8 year extension for $255 million

February 2021: Nolan Arenado traded to the Cardinals with 6 years $199 million remaining. Rockies include $50 million

March 2022: Rockies sign Kris Bryant to 7 year $182 million contract.

Now I’m pissed that the cubs didn’t just trade him for arenado when that was supposedly going down

Will be an interesting case study between him and arenado. If arenados defense holds up, he will be able to probably produce the same WAR that bryant will be able to produce with his bat

But if arenados defense starts to go, I think Bryant is the better player over the next two or three years
