no you cant. Stanton will win it just like i told you 5 weeks ago. Only the gap is much larger now than it was then

I don't think they are talking who WILL win it, but who should win it.

I think Stanton wins easily also because you know DINGERS.

Besides Votto being fricking awesome, why should he win? Is he a better candidate than the others? I think it is a crowded field.

yeah he's pretty much hands down a better candidate than everyone but stanton, who he is also a better candidate than.

Oh well, voters dig the long ball and being on good teams. Votto was the best player in the NL this year and he won't be recognized for it because people are dumb. That's ok.

Rendon will fininsh 4th or 5th. Depends how much stock voters will put in blackmons road splits. Nice season, far from an MVP season. shite I'd give Harper a vote before him but that's me

What an absolutely ridiculous statement.

Judge - 7.3 WAR (not counting his 2 HR game today)
Altuve - 7.3 WAR

Judge - 161 wRC+ (not counting his 2 HR game today)
Altuve - 167 wRC+

Judge - .283 AVG
Altuve - .348 AVG

Judge - .418 OBP
Altuve - .412 OBP

Judge - .620 SLG
Altuve - .555 SLG

Judge - 1.038 OPS
Altuve - .968 OPS

Judge - 50 HR
Altuve - 24 HR

Judge - 108 RBI
Altuve - 80 RBI

Judge - 124 R
Altuve -106 R

Judge - 119 BB
Altuve - 58 BB

Judge - 8 SB
Altuve - 32 SB

So Altuve is better in AVG and SB. Judge tops him in almost everything else. Not saying Altuve doesn’t deserve it. He has had an amazing season. But this MVP race will come down to this last week. Both of these guys are neck and neck.

Kluber will win the Cy Young, only thing Sale has over him is K's. Kluber is superior in all other categories.

Was starting a post to make a claim for why sale should definitely win it but I'm not sure anymore. I would still vote for sale but i can see why someone would vote for kluber

Sale also has thrown more innings, has a lower FIP and a full win lead in fWAR. I know some people don't value some of that, but a lot of people in the industry do.

Personally, I think it is splitting hairs as to who should win. I do think Kluber is more likely to actually win.

A lot of voters just like headlines. Most know about Sales 300k benchmark. On top of that big trade in the offseason. That will get him more votes
