Also add his ACC freshman of the year. Since we're talking age instead of just NBA tenure. Good catch.

Spin it however you want. I know no matter what LeBron fanboys are gonna continue to fanboy. No matter if they're proven wrong or not.

When Jordan was in college at UNC there was no 3 pt line, had to defer to the other solid NBA talent on the team in Dean Smiths system, and played in an era when Smith employed a "four corners" offense which severely slowed down the game.
Think about that for a second. Not only was he just not allowed to go off for 30 a night, but his individual offensive development was squelched in favor of a system.
Lebron was allowed to freely and quickly expand his game and learn how to dominate from HS straight into the NBA.
I'd say it helped Mike eventually be the more complete player, and the GOAT, but this comparison of age is bogus because of the development differences.

How is this still a debate? Lebron ain't Jordan, and anybody trying to convince themselves or others that Lebron is actually a better player is just a damn fool. Get over it, fan boys.
Lebron is great, MJ is greater.

Jordan was not, Lol...
I listened to James Worthy on the radio maybe about a week ago say that he was better than Jordan when Jordan came out of high school. He said Jordan was very raw. He worked very hard to become the player he was, but he was not NBA-ready.

Worked.... That's what separates MJ from LJ

only on tigerdroppings can a single conference freshman of the year award be used in comparison against a NBA rookie of the year.

The numbers don't lie, but they don't tell the whole truth. The only thing I get from the OP is that MJ stats in less years in the league are on par with LBJ.

Who has been other than KG and LeBron?

Read that, imagine it's the year 2000, and tell me that MJ wouldn't have gone pro if he wanted to when he left high school.
Was he polished? No, but there's no doubt he would have been drafted very high.

It's not that the numbers are wrong. It's just that the criteria is worthless. Going by age is pointless given that they started their careers at different ages.
Jordan through age 29 season: 667 games
James through age 29 season: 842 games.
Jordan gets to 848 games at the end of the 1996-97 season when he's 33 years old. Hell, Jordan only played 1072 games. Lebron is 78.5% of the way to Jordan's total amount of regular season games played.
Even if we add in playoff games, Jordan only had 179 playoff games compared to James' current 158 playoff games.
LeBron James should beat Jordan's numbers. He has a lot more time to play and will easily pass Jordan is games played if he plays more than 3 years.

Hypothetical: If LeBron is ever as good as Jordan, it will be admitted. As of now, he isn't.
