quote:Very honest question here. Do you really think you have zero bias when you talk about how big of a douche Lebron is for that quote but defend MJ for the quote about his kids?
LeBron doesn't care about his critics because only sad losers with sad lives criticize him and he gets to keep being LeBron God what a douche
I'd have to think if you have any self awareness you'd acknowledge at the very least the massive amount of bias one would have to have to make those 2 comments back to back, no?

He is completely ridiculous
Lebron says plenty of stupid shite, but that quote wasn’t one of them

quote:Doesn't matter because...nostalgia!!!
MJ gave 50k to the Hillary campaign as well

quote:He said his legacy is bigger than basketball, meaning it's not just about basketball.
Don’t forget about the time Lebron said “I realize I’m bigger than basketball” he’s such a moron
Now we got guys intentionally misquoting so they can call Lebron a moron for something any rational person would agree with.

quote:Think about it, genro is defending MJ for essentially saying his kids will never be as great as him while calling Lebron a douche for essentially saying his critics will never be as great as him.
He was responding to the ridiculous critics
And his quote is right for the jackass haters out there
Your hate is extremely strong
It's not ok to clap back at haters taking shots at you, but it's ok to do the same to your own kids.

I said it was uncouth but true. They're both douchey. But MJ's is actually true and LeBron's is not.
Posted on 1/2/19 at 8:25 pm to genro
Dude, you are being absolutely ridiculous
I hate on Lebron constantly for his of court bullshite
Telling people that hate on him to go deal with their own personal problems while he loves his own life with his family is not a bad quote

quote:What part of this is not true?
But MJ's is actually true and LeBron's is not.
quote:
Absolutely Not, cause at the end of the day, Ummmm, all the people who are rooting for me to fail, ummm, at the end of the day, they have to wake up tomorrow and have the same life that they had before they woke up today, they got the same personal problems they had, today. You know, and I’m gonna continue to live the way I want to live, and continue to do the things I wannna do with me and my family …they gotta get back to the real world at some point.
Those people don't have to go back to their lives at some point?

quote:Wow. He didn't say that. That's fantastic spin

Tell me what you think he said?
He is telling people that root for him to fail have to go back to their real world and their problems, and he goes back to his real world and his family
It absolutely is a great quote on how people are so fricking weird about how the treat athletes

I guess lebron should have said his kids will never live up to how great he is, then he'd have your full support.

1 page ago LeBron was describing an angry sad person with a shitty life who takes out his frustration on LeBron. Like CptBengal. That's what YALL said.
Now it's just, hey you live your life and I'll live mine

You realize that’s all one and the same, right?
He is calling out people that are so wrapped up in sports they beg for others to fail and take it to the point of crazy sad fans
Saying they have to go back to the real world, just like he does
Dude, are you ok?

I realize they're not. There's a big difference between "all my haters are just sad losers who are jealous of my awesome life" and "hey bud you just go live your life and I'll live mine". That's why I said it was good spin

quote:I'd just like to point out the guy saying this was good spin is the same guy saying it's worse to tell your haters they're jealous of you than it is to tell the world that your kids will never be as great as you. That's the dude claiming "spin."

Why did you have to show up? You are such a douchebag, Lebron homo.

Jordan better distanced himself from his peers of his era more so than LeBron did in this era. Jordan's peers in the 90s were not the same Caliber of LeBron's though. Especially the perimeter players. Jordan's peers were mostly Centers.
If we are being honest Pippen was probably the 2nd best perimeter player of the 90s and he played along side Jordan.
LeBron is a better player though. The skill level and athleticism of this era is 10 folds better than that era.
Basketball is now a global game so the talent pool is so much bigger, plus they are giving 45 million per year deals and 200+ million guaranteed contacts. The basketball is attracting the most talented kids at an earlier age.
Post Jordan era has seen the greatest shooter ever, the best ball handler ever, Best European player ever etc.
The talent level every single position outside of Center is better and way deeper in the post Jordan era.
LeBron has been the best player for over a decade in the most skilled and talented era of Basketball so far.
