re: MJ: “I would never call myself the greatest ever”

One time after practice a teammate beat Jordan in ping pong. So he built a ping pong room in his mansion and practiced every day, and a month later he was the best ping pong player on the team
Imagine a guy with such an insane amount of heart and competitive spirit, who is also a physical wonder of the world who can seemingly fly and do amazing things with the basketball. Teams didn't even win on guard play before Jordan. A shooting guard could not anchor a winning team, that was accepted basketball basics. He invented it

Yeah, that is a massive lie

MJ is a better player and far more likable person. Dude even retired from the game for a bit and came back strong.

MJ gave 50k to the Hillary campaign as well

quote:Is that true?
"I feel sorry for my kids, they will have to walk in the footsteps of mine which they for obvious reasons aint able to, its not possible to look good when being compared to me"
That's only about a million times worse than saying he's the GOAT.

Humble, classy, full of Grace. MJ is the man. Damn LeBron has a lot to learn. Maybe he'll grow out of it one day
It's sad that folks are this naive.

Yes lol. That quote is from his hall of fame speech iirc

quote:Think about this thread, it's the height of people being willfully stupid just because they don't like Lebron and want him to look bad.
MJ Is so humble
Michael Jordan is one of the least humble athletes ever but simply saying he was humble, hence saying something stupid, in their mind makes Lebron look worse so they're ok saying said stupid thing.
It's pretty baffling.

That's honestly true though if pretty uncouth.
I think this statement by LeBron is worse
God what a douche
I think this statement by LeBron is worse
quote:LeBron doesn't care about his critics because only sad losers with sad lives criticize him and he gets to keep being LeBron
Absolutely Not, cause at the end of the day, Ummmm, all the people who are rooting for me to fail, ummm, at the end of the day, they have to wake up tomorrow and have the same life that they had before they woke up today, they got the same personal problems they had, today. You know, and I’m gonna continue to live the way I want to live, and continue to do the things I wannna do with me and my family …they gotta get back to the real world at some point.

Dude that’s actually a good quote
That was one that generally everyone agrees with. If you find fault with that one you are basically on CptBengal level

And you never had to worry whether MJ was going to quit on his team or not

Don’t forget about the time Lebron said “I realize I’m bigger than basketball”
he’s such a moron

No. That's so childish and immature that you agree. You can have an awesome life, one even better than X athlete, and still not be a fan of them
Hell the fat nasty bitch in the trailer park thinks the same thing as LeBron. Anyone who doesn't like her is just a sad jelly hater

His haters have somewhat made him bigger than basketball though
You can pretty much blame yourselves for that one tyga. Your obsession over him and his every move gave him his stupid platform
