Everyone laughed at Kirby Smart for not promising the starting job to Fields, which caused him to transfer, but it was incredibly obvious to anyone who watched him that he couldn’t play in a pro-style offense, and still can’t.

I was with you your whole post until I got to here where it seems you're trying to justify Jake Fromm over Justin Fields Fields was a much better college QB than Fromm and as bad as Fields is in the NFL, he's a better NFL QB than Fromm too.

You know what the difference is.

He's on his rookie contract and the Bears will give him every chance to prove himself just like they did w/Trubisky. Once they decided Mitch wasn't worth a massive extension they moved on which is exactly what they'll do w/Fields.

Ok then prove the narrative incorrect.

How is there any relation between CJ Stroud and Justin Fields vs. any of the previous QBs mentioned other than the jersey they wore?

Completely different schemes and coaching staffs.

Are you really that dense to think Terrelle Pryor in a Jim Tressel offense has any fricking relation to what Ryan Day is running now?

Kirby has ended up being proven right not starting Fields.

I was on team Fromm the whole time, Justin just didn't have it.

I thought he transferred because of racism

That was a BS reason and even his sorry excuse.of a lawyer knew it.

His sister stayed at UGA, she was a letterman IIRC. Softball.

Fromm - 43 games, 7200 passing yards, 78 pass TDs.

Fields - 22 games, 5400 passing yards, 63 pass TDs.

And I’m sure you don’t want the rushing disparity posted.

Are you mentally challenged?

It’s not that he was proven right, it’s just that it didn’t matter.

That 2019 team had serious issues. Worst play caller in UGA history and we lost our top 6 pass catchers from the previous year. Justin Fields wouldn’t have made it any better.

Fields was throwing go routes all day to Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson against Indiana and Northwestern

Something tells me throwing sideline corner routes to Lawrence Cager & Demetris Robertson is a lot tougher.

Fromm & Swift are the only reason that offense even got to the SEC Championship

Fields definitely was the far better college QB playing in Ohio State’s offense

A majority of the 2019 Ohio State WRs aren’t even in the NFL.

KJ Hill led WRs in snap counts. Olave was second. Wilson was tied with Benjamin Victor for 3rd. And Austin Mack wasn’t far behind in 4th.

Another little known fact about the Justin Fields saga:

Fields entered the transfer portal on national signing day, so UGA scrambled to add a QB to their class at last second.

They tried to flip CJ Stroud from Ohio St, who was barely a top 100 prospect at the time, but were unsuccessful.

At the last second they signed a JUCO QB from Jones Community College. Stetson Bennett IV.

The narrative is that all those QBs who were very good at OSU suck in the NFL. I haven’t said a thing about system or HC. Just that they all suck in the NFL.

Stroud may be good or he may follow the same path. Time will tell.

These comparisons are clearly racist.
