Year after year they just continue to be such a good team. And, he has managed to coach through some crazy personalities
Too bad Bill is Michael Jordan and he’s denying him rings.

Any coach that has been coaching a team for over 10 years in the nfl is a great coach. Definitely agree, Tomlin is an amazing coach

What about Marvin Lewis?

Vrabel is working his way into that conversation quickly IMO

Reid and Harbaugh > Tomlin. That being said, Tomlin has received way too much undue heat from Steelers fans over the years. He's always been a great coach.

Marvin Lewis could teach a HBS class in longevity in an organization as long as you suck up to the cheap CEO.
Be just good enough to not be bad.
Don’t earn too much or if he fires you he’ll have to pay a much higher market rate.
Rinse and repeat.

If I could give you 100 upvotes, I would. He's a fantastic coach! He kept Antonio Brown acting sane until the very end.
And I had family, especially a 1st cousin, who wanted him fired over that and for finishing 8-8. Moreso for the former. I told him to be patient, Tomlin is a fantastic coach. Glad the Steelers were.

You are right. But this is one Steelers fan who has defended him to the tilt!

Lol nah. Tomlin has Harbaugh in almost every category.

Lol at those Ohio Steelers fans on here wanting him gone

Well, they're morons.

Cincy was terrible before and after him.

Nah, Tomlin is better than both

Nah, brah. I'll give you Reid in a push. But that's it.

Tomlin's had a future Hall of Fame QB for his entire coaching career while Harbaugh's had Joe Flacco and a very young Lamar Jackson for two seasons yet Harbaugh still has a winning head to head record against Tomlin with more playoff wins than him.

If you told me a few years ago they would lose AB and Bell and Ben would miss a season late in his career to injury, I would have left them for dead.

What about their head to heads in the playoffs?
Who has more AFC North titles?
Who has more Super Bowl appearances?
Who has never had a losing record?
Who has the better career winning percentage?

Hell, look at the Bengals since he's been gone.

Actually, that's a really good point.

Interesting point. Him and Jim Caldwell might have been stabilizer forces.
