In the SEC he’d have like 5 cupcake games to pad that total

Congratulations to him and the Steelers, The AFC and his division thanks him for being average for 15 years.

As others make changes and move forward to better themselves, Pittsburg and Tomlin celebrate .500.

To be fair...Tomlin has had some absolute dog shite rosters to deal with in past years. Him going 500 with bottom 5 level talent in a few cases was incredible.

Yipee for the greatness of mediocrity of Mike Tomlin

I think his style is a perfect fit for the NFL. He just needs to hire a competent offensive coordinator and get better QB play and there's no reason he can't win another super bowl.

Tomlin's biggest misfortune is that the bulk of his career transposed against the Brady/belichek dynasty.

He hasn’t won’t a single playoff game in the last 7 seasons. But you’re apparently being an emotional fan if you call that out and think it’s time try something different.

He ain't going anywhere so you might as well accept it.

You sure are ate up with this. Again, if you don't have a point, then shut the frick up and enjoy the New Year.

To be a NFL head coach for over 15 years,.....never had a losing record is next level impressive.

All the talk of him being fired/traded after the season by fellow Steelers fans(a couple on here) was ridiculous. He was never going anywhere.

He does need to overhaul the offensive staff in the off-season.

And how hes treated the offense in the last 4 years, he would've been fired if he was a part of any other organization.

I respect Tomlin, but acting like hes safe just because hes a Steelers coach is ridiculous.

BIG changes need to be made in the offseason regarding the entire offense.

Step 1 is realizing Kenny Pickett isn't the franchise QB - and hes already realized that because he literally benched Pickett for Rudolph today in his PC.

Just got told that Pickett 100 percent refused to be the backup. That the Steelers writers know that but won't write it.

If Bill Cowher wasn't fired after the '03 season and his 3rd consecutive losing season, Tomlin sure as hell wasn't going anywhere.

You're wrong on this. We need to see what he looks like w/a competent playcaller and offensive staff around him.

No, Kenny is still not completely healed up from his ankle. Nothing more, nothing less.

This sucking Rudolph's dick after 2 really good games after he's been in the roster for 4 years is comical. He has never shown that he can be consistent yet two really good B2B games(and he has been really good) and people like you and Killer are anointing him and throwing Kenny out w/the bathwater.

You know better. Be better.

Stopped reading right there. That fatass has always been a shock jock. He's more worried about what's in the buffet at Eat N'Park than reporting actual news.

frick that fat frick.

I don't care who the QB's name is - the Steelers hadn't scored 30+ all year until Rudolph played.

I want production - Tomlin himself said in the PC this morning that Pickett's availability this week isn't an issue.

That means this is purely performance based decision making, and right now it is 100% the right decision.

Honestly - Pittsburgh needs to trade for Justin Fields in the offseason, and hire a competent OC.

They're gonna have to outbid the Falcons for him IMO, and we both know the Rooneys aren't outbidding anyone let alone Arthur Blank.

We are gonna disagree on Pickett. He's gonna go into camp battling w/Rudolph.

And I'm happy for Mason, he's been through some bullshite during his time w/the Steelers. I just wanna see him be consistent.

Madden may be an idiot, but hes got connections. He doesn't just put shite like that out there unless hes heard it from credible people.

Welcome to the dark side my friend.

Trade the 2nd rounder for Fields and keep building the OL.

Like I told Box, they are gonna have to outbid the Falcons for him. Blank meddles and usually gets what he wants.

If Kenny balls out next year I will not let you and Box hear the end of it. Warning you guys now.

Are the Bears a willing trade partner after Claypool?
