Tomlin's the Don Shula of this generation. Might not put together extraordinarily elite teams very often but his consistency year in and year out is amazing and second to none.

Yep.
All the talk of him being fired/traded after the season by fellow Steelers fans(a couple on here) was ridiculous. He was never going anywhere.
He does need to overhaul the offensive staff in the off-season.

I understand the frustration but it's also a classic case of be careful what you wish for and the "grass isn't always greener". Wanting to get rid of him is absolute insanity.
If anything, what we have seen w/the roster the last 2-3 years is the legacy of Kevin Colbert, the previous GM. His drafts, especially along the LOS, have absolutely sucked(TJ Watt and Cam Heyward not withstanding of course) and the fact that Tomlin is a win away from a playoff berth w/that being the case is a testament to his abilities as a coach.
