Whether or not drug addiction is a disease or a mental illness/disorder, this country has a callous sh###y attitude towards mental illness that needs to change. It seems like some people seem to have a problem with people they see as weak minded and therefore label them as having a mental "disorder". Let these cynics experience the horror of true clinical depression or mental disease and then see whether it matters if it's a disease or a disorder.
