Yeah, pretty much. And he didn't say a gun was pointed at his kids or wife. Quit trying to paint some picture

I beg you. Go ask a black WWI or WW2 vet from the Deep South what he would have thought had he had the n world spray painted on his families house. I highly suspect that he would take that as a deathly threat.

Would you tell him that he's making shite up

I'm an outstanding citizen with a couple priors.
A couple of wrong place at the wrong times with the wrong crowd and being young and dumb.

How does he know that it was racially motivated? Or is he just making that assumption? Maybe he fit the profile of the guy they were looking for?

Your fishing bro. It may not be but if a group of people disproportionally get policed and affected in a certain way, it's not unreasonable for him to draw from that conclusion.

Either you think black folks are prone to criminality --- which is a centuries old racist and patently false stereotype used to justify racial disclrimination, murder and terrorism.

Or you realize that cops target poor (POC) more than they target other groups.

If you hate it so much, turn it off and go watch NAIA football where your players would say shite

Y'all thought Thabo and James Blake were lying too.

There's nothing to reasonably conclude but that many of these deniers just don't think black lives are worth it because they keep refuting objective facts.

You keep coming up with denials for truth.

in the article it says that he said "everyone ran"... that alone implies he was running too dumbass. unless he isn't a part of "everyone"

It's not unreasonable? Seems very irresponsible to me to profile the police like that.

We hear one side of the story and everybody jumps to a bunch of conclusions. Why not wait for all of the details to come out before making your conclusions?

Say the cops were told that a large black man had a gun and was an active shooter in that area. Michael Bennett is with a crowd of white people running in that area. Why would it be racists to cuff the large black guy that fit the description to make sure he wasn't the active shooter? What if the shooter was a large black man running through a crowd of white people and the cops just let him go because they didn't want to be accused of racially profiling him?

There might be a whole lot more to the story than what Michael Bennett says on Twitter.

I could have guessed that from your post. Usually priors don't like cops. They don't like the laws.

I'm out, said my piece.

I'm just tired of seeing a group of people get maimed, murdered and terrorized to only have people just deny.

We've seen their kids murdered in cold blood in the streets by the state and some fools still find ways to justify it.

There aren't many other conclusions to come to other than they just don't value them like they value others.

Not at all. Their stories seemed entirely credible with corroborating evidence and witness statements. Bennett is a know attention whore with a wild claim and no supporting evidence.

You may want to read the article again, maybe try a little comprehension this time before calling someone a dumbass.

Go for it.
