When one of the above teams becomes a football power again, will we see their bandwagon fans wake up and start sporting their merchandise, or is this a 90's fad that simply has gone by the wayside?

ND and FSU both make noise this year.

ETA: ND's fanbase is huge and will be unless we legitimately go another 30 years of mediocrity. FSU's is probably decent, too, I'd imagine. Miami's is probably the only one on the list that's bandwagon.

Notre Dame is always in the top 5 in sales, we just don't see that much in the south

I think the trend in South Louisiana to see people wearing FSU, Miami, and ND gear existed primarily because LSU was horrendous during the Curley Hallman years. It was kind of fluky because I don't expect LSU to be that bad for a very long time.

Plenty of f$u & cryami fans rocking their teams' gear currently in the state of Florida. They act like they're coming off a NC winning season (especially noel fans), so I wouldn't really call them bandwagon....more delusional than anything.

I have clothing items from each of these three teams. But FSU is 2 years away from a title contention and Da U and Notre Dame are a good 4 or 5 years away

FSU will be in the title hunt, due to their shitty conference on a national level. All they have to do is win the conference and get an automatic BCS berth.

ND has to run the table to be relevant.

Agreed. No way it happens.

I am surprised that the Golden Dome hasn't been investigated for paying players yet.

Long term, I would guess Miami. Florida St. and Notre Dame both have favorable schedules this year. They both should do well but I can't buy into some of the hype I've heard, especially FSU.

I've saw some FSU back in the 90s, not much UM or ND, a lot of Tennessee too for some reason.

take a look at a high school yearbook from the early 90's and you will undoubtedly see Miami, FSU and Notre Dame gear in some pictures.
