Lol not really . Certainly didn’t reflect in tournament seeding. Always faded once these cupcakes got into their conf schedule

Certainly a win over MUW is not going to register with...anyone. But I don't think now is the time for LSU fans to laugh at Wade given McNeese's KenPom rating (the best predictive metric in college basketball in terms of the quality of a team) has MSU ranked exactly ONE spot behind LSU.
For a bit of context, that's 159 spots higher than the next highest rated Southland team, SLU, who LSU struggled to beat on their home floor 6 days ago. That's also 8 spots higher than Syracuse, who blasted LSU by 23. And lest anyone think MSU's KP ranking is simply a byproduct of a very weak schedule,, keep in mind, MSU's SOS is currently 85th...compared to LSU's 253rd. And all of that has been done without Wade actually coaching a game yet.
Will McNeese's success continue? TBD. But the turnaround for that program thus far, who hasn't had a winning season in over a decade, is pretty remarkable. Something ANYONE with the ability to objectively view the results without the bias of love/hate for Wade should be able to acknowledge.
Are many LSU fans tired of hearing about Wade? Probably. Are the Wade haters, such as the OP, grasping for any indication of Wade being a "bad" coach? Absolutely. But the reality is ALL of this attention/discussions could quickly go away with one thing...LSU winning. Unfortunately, not only are they not doing that in any noteworthy fashion, but they are trending to be WORSE than the team that tied the worst SEC record in school history last season. That's not bias. Just fact.
I'm tired of talking about Will Wade too. Not because I dislike Wade. But because there is nothing positive to discuss with the current state of the LSU program. Give me a reason to talk about something other than Wade. Like not fighting for dear life to beat a Southland conf. team who will likely finish with a losing record this season. Or being remotely competitive against a bottom 1/3rd ACC team instead of losing by nearly 25 points.

actually not. This game was the last of his suspension. He will be on the court next game vs southern miss

This is so stupid. You should be embarrassed about posting something so ignorant.

MUW is changing their name and have admitted men since 1987. The Owls, from Columbus, MS...my home town. shite hole, though, and why no one chooses to stay there unless your kids go to Caledonia or the small faction of N. Columbus wealth going to Heritage.

Well...they didn't play women, and they are trying to play as many games as they can as soon as they can so they can get their General on the court when they go to Michigan.
It's why they played this team, as well as the College of Biblical Studies and Champion Christian and LeTourneau.
They just played their 10th game, and Wades suspension is over. LSU has only played 8. Most teams have only played 7 or 8 games thus far.

I’m not one to throw out early season rankings like all these McNeese fans but that’s funny

Oh wait, so this must mean he doesn't get any credit for the games he didn't coach??

Our fans should not be judging any other basketball program’s wins. At least they are winning.

Beat VCU UAB on their homecourt can McMahon say that he has that good of wins?
Posted on 12/7/23 at 11:30 am to SWLA92
Yall really gotta stop celebrating beating a Q3 team with only 4 wins. Why not mention beating Texas State too? They’re just as good

Has Will Wade been Fired again, yet?

Wade can’t either because he wasn’t coaching.

Except he plays in a Q4 conference. NET will tank once they lose a couple games
Their net rating is 100% irrelevant. The Southland is getting 1 team in the tournament. So it's win your conference tourney or bust.

Do y'all really not understand the difference between who McNeese should beat and who LSU should beat?
Let me break it down for you. Beating teams like VCU and UAB for a school like McNeese is a really good thing.
Losing to schools like Nichols for LSU is about as embarrassing as it gets.
Posted on 12/7/23 at 11:50 am to Hold That Tiger 10
It’s all relative. This is not a good LSU team.
They might beat one Q1/Q2 team all year.
McNeese isn’t that good of a team either, but they will beat some Q3 teams
