Yes, I understand that. Many of these "religious" schools are religion in name only. The point stands.

Ok, you kind of had me a bit. Now I know you are just trolling or are an idiot.

No one is getting kicked out of a conference. Especially not the Big 12.

Sorry corrected the mistake. This should have said the Big East not the Big 12. Only 4 of the Big East members are likely to join the Big 12.

The media reach of Gonzaga is a lot bigger than people realize. All of the Spokane TV channels are shown throughout Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario through Rogers/Shaw Cable. So every single Gonzaga game that is broadcast locally is also shown throughout Canada. (ie Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, Vancouver, etc.) The Big 12 realizes they are a much bigger media market than people realize. They should add football though given the growth of the school

I don't believe any school will leave the Big East, unless it is a football school like UConn.

The Big East schools have been burned multiple times by football schools. They have their basketball league and I would be shocked if they left.

Gonzaga could join the Big 12 or Pac 12, but it would make more sense for them to join the Big East. They talked with the Big East when it formed, but the travel was an issue. There is as much or more travel in the in Big 12.
