I really don't dislike kobe but the media makes it really hard not to. So much praise for scoring 36 in game 1. 36 points on 29 shots is NOT GOOD.

He shot it decently from the field. 14-29. He didn't get to the foul line at all because he shot nothing but outside shots. 26 of his 29 shots were from outside of 10 feet.

I thought he shot the ball really well from mid-range as he usually does, it seemed he couldn't miss a shot from inside the arc.

He played well. It's encouraging for the Mavs though for him to be taking a lot of jump shots. I don't expect that to continue though.

It does if Gasol keeps playing like a bitch.
They won't win this series if Kobe takes that many shots, but it still might be better for them.
Basically, if Gasol doesn't play well the Mavs are going to win.
