If he was hired by a team with a solid GM in place and NOT given any say over personnel decisions, he would have done just fine in the NFL.

Ifs and woulds are wonderful and all, but the reality is it took a grand total of two years for Saban to run from the NFL with his tail between his legs. Nobody forced him to agree to a deal that made him coach and defacto GM.

No saban won't go to Dallas and you're out of your box if you think sp leaves Nola for Dallas as long as drew is here. He's the king right now in everyones eyes.

No SP is not leaving. I meant in my original post is that there is no way in hell Saban is going to Dallas.

Jerry Jones and Nick Saban would want to kill each other about 17 minutes after entering into a business relationship.

I think Jerry Jones is more likely to hire Les Miles than Nick Saban.

He only struggled during his second year because the Dolphins QBs were absolutely godawful.

Saban would probably still be in Miami had the Dolphin medical staff not fricked up the Drew Brees evaluation

They didn't frick it up. They fricked up how determined he was to come back from the injury and how well he would heal from one of the worst and most extensive should injuries that the most experienced orthopaedic surgeon in the world has ever repaired.
