Hope they find an offensive line, secondary receiver, and a RB who can consistently move the chains or this is gonna be a bust

Damn. Nice work by the Lions considering what J-Roc and Matt Ryan got.
Not so much

Yeah I just saw on ESPN's website...not near the TV. I thought it was only 41-mil...holy shite that is insane.

If that were actually the contract, then that's a good deal. Unfortunately, that's no where near what the contract will go for.

pretty good money for being an average talent. he will be another bust. guy has nothing special other than a strong arm.

at least he doesn't has to start this year. Draft another WR and some OL th next 2 years, then plug in Stafford. If he had to start this year he (or any rookie) would be screwed.

That organization can't do shyt right.

I would be willing to bet at some point this year he starts... Daunte wont stay healthy, team will struggle and fans will want him in. Team will cave under pressure and Stafford plays before Week 10.

6yrs $78 mill with $41.7 mill guaranteed says he will play this year

oh yeah, that wouldn't shock me but being able to watch half a season and get more practice time and then enter into games that don't matter is much easier than starting week 1.
