The Saints were missing so many people on defense for that game.

Not saying Atlanta doesn't still win, but I can assure you it wouldn't have been nearly as bad.

I'm so tired of hearing this argument from Saints' fans. They act as if they have 11 All-Pros hurt on defense right now. The players hurt right now aren't that good with the exception of Breaux. He would've went up against Jones who only had 1 catch that game anyway. Results would have been the same.

Saints were missing 3 or 4 members of their front 7 for that game, including Davison who has been absolutely awesome against the run.

Oh yea, that Vaccaro guy has been pretty damn good for us too, especially in the box. He also missed that game.

I don't think you know what you're talking about.

I can guarantee you that this defense is better with Vaccaro, Davison, Rankins, Ellerbe, and Breaux (the important 5 of our 7 that missed that game). Stopping the run has been a strength on this defense outside of that 1 game for a reason....

Where did I say that?

I get that you can't win an argument without arguing against yourself, but try to actually read what I'm writing.

The saints schedule has a higher winning % than the falcons....

When did that happen?

And the west coast playing in the east is the advantage.

Maybe. But none of that really matters. Atlanta beat the shite out of us at home. You can't talk shite after that.

It's like Conor McGregor talking shite to the guy that was 30 seconds away from choking him to death.

A win for Atlanta? Very possible. An unstoppable offense for an entire game outside of the first series? Not no, but frick no.

But I'm not talking shite.

I said there's a good chance they still win, they've been the better team this year. However, I do not think they run up and down the field on every single drive (outside of the first one), if the Saints had more of their key guys (Breaux, Vaccaro, etc).
