easier to accomplish when you're better at sucking for 3 quarters.

Considering the majority of them have ended with Bryant field goals, the name is pretty fitting still.

Yes, I'm well aware that yesterday's did not.

ETA: Also not saying that I don't respect his ability to win games, because that would be silly.

He's always been a good QB. Not elite, but in that second tier. Last season he struggled some, this year he's played at an elite level thus far.

I was all in on him being mediocre after last season. He has changed my tune that's for damn sure

Highest avg completion and the most 20+ AND 40+ yard completions in the league disagree with you.

Is that taking into account how far the ball travels in the air, or just total yards of the play?

Not sure. But watching games this year, he's throwing the ball down field a lot more than he used to.

You know which one it is, you just don't want to say it.

I don't disagree. He's having a great year for sure.

ETA: Goddamn you Falcons are sensitive. I compliment your guy twice in this thread and still get downvotes.

Well I guess that applies to the rest of the people on the list too.

You think Brees is setting passing records if the the running game and defense wasn't total crap for most of his career?

The running game is "crap" because we have Brees. You want 40 rush attempts when you have a HOF QB? As for the defense sucking, if anything that's actually keeping the ball away from Brees

Well that's a new one.

I don't think anyone with sense thinks Ryan is as good as DB, but Chad is not the Saints best representative when it comes to rational thought on this subject.

On another note, how many thousands of yards has DB accumulated on screen plays?

We don't attempt a lot of runs. We use short passes as an extension of the run.

You're helping my argument here

No, I really don't. The stats on NFL.com didn't break down how long the throws were vs what were YAC.

Mind linking a site that has that information?
