Pretty well known Orgeron threw his arse up against the wall with his forearm at his throat

That's crazy.
Shoes just how stable that orginazation has been.
The fact that they've only had 3 HC's in 55 years(Noll, Cowher, and Tomlin) is also a testament to their stability.

Maybe now he'll actually get/receive competent coaching b/c he sure hasn't had it his first year and a half as a pro snd we can actually find out if he can play or not.
But people already labeling him a bust are ignorant.

How it took the Steelers three years to figure out what LSU, Maryland and NC State figured out in one year, is beyond me.
To be fair, he was at NC State for 3 years, and he was the interim HC at Maryland where the whole staff was let go after the season. His departure from Indiana and Wisconsin coincided with head coaching changes as well.
He sucked with the Steelers, but it's not like his offenses were awful when he was in college. That's why he keeps getting jobs.

I was on his side but the last two weeks have been some of the absolute worst QB play I have ever watched.
And trust me I’ve watched shitty QB as a fan of the Gators for over a decade.

in the SEC:
7th in total offense
9th in scoring offense
7th in 3rd down conversions
Dead last in RZ scoring % and 11th in RZ TD%
8th in plays of 10+ yards
Uninspiring offensive game against a bad BYU team to open the season
Embarrassing performance against Miss State, scoring only 7 points
Then laid an egg against Troy
How exactly were you ok with what he was doing at LSU? he was horrible and an egotistical a-hole on top of it

The problem is that his offenses decline everywhere he's been. He has a decent track record as a QB coach and that's why he's usually brought in. He was QB coach at NC State and then went up to OC, same as a few other spots. As soon as he hits OC, he's done.
The real big issue is that he hasn't modernized his system at all, which would be problematic in college today and devastating at the NFL level. The critiques of his system are mainly that it's not a system, it's just "calling plays", no concept, no strategy, no working matchups.
It doesn't help that he's a world-class prick on top of it.

I feel ya, it's frustrating, but I don't think Kenny is the issue. Canada was. Not only was he a shitty OC, he didn't develop Kenny as the QB coach either. He needed to go.
But you saying he's the worst QB in the NFL on Sunday was just incorrect and you know football and know better, thus why I called you out.

Pittsburgh never gained 400-plus yards of offense in a game under Canada, who was the Steelers offensive coordinator for three seasons. They failed to reach 400-plus total yards in 58 consecutive games (second-longest such streak in NFL history
Somehow, the Steelers are 6-4 despite being outgained in each of their first 10 games. Kenny Pickett has the lowest pass touchdown rate (1.9%) by any quarterback with 500-plus attempts since 1970. The Steelers average 16.6 points per game this season, 28th in the NFL, and average just 0.7 pass touchdowns per game this season, 31st in the NFL.

When you give up 13 points and lose, it's the offensive coordinator.

Which OC will make Kenny Pickett good?
They just need him to be average.
All that takes is not being so predictable that you can identify the play by the formation.

We need another black and gold team whose fans hate Goofdell to follow suit.

I swear I included him in my post above but I left him out. I went ahead and fixed that oversight.
Thank you.

He mad a bad offense worse but he certainly didn't make a good offense bad.
