Last year’s US open felt big but this feels bigger. This is golf’s biggest moment since Phil winning the PGA in ‘21.

There are 2 people within 5 shots, with one being a noted choker who’s biggest victory is the Valero Texas Open.

Theres 2 more people within 6. That’s not a lot, no matter how you want to try and surely twist the words. Those guys also aren’t “going out early”. They’re in the 2 tee times before him. Have you ever watched golf before?

This has the setup to be very very fun to watch.

Aberg wins it.

A man among children

Bryson, intentionally or organically, was definitely laying the ground work from 15 on yesterday. I’d imagine he most definitely will have some type of homage to Payne and if wasn’t Augusta he’d be decked out like Apollo Creed.

That being said they gonna get in Rory’s bean, big time.

This ia gonna be a turd sandwich. Only 2 guys in contention. Masters thrives when 8 guys are all jockeying on rhe back 9 within 2 shots this might be over before they hit amen corner.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Scheffler gets into double digits at some point today, so could Reed or Aberg

Not a fan of this. Normal Sunday pin placement on 16 was fun.

I hope that comment ignites something in Rory and we get two of golf’s best going toe to toe with a close finish.

Those of you rooting for a Rory meltdown are not good sportsman. I want a battle today.

I don’t care if he has a meltdown or not, I just want him to lose.

In fact, I hope he loses in the closest way possible. Am I still a bad sportsman?
