How legit are the third parties that you can see on SeatGeek and StubHub for the Masters? I can totally see them not letting someone in who isn’t the name of the badge owner.

In the past they were pretty reliable, but this year Augusta started taking the badges from people that didn't know the badge holders. This caused a squeeze on entry and I think they had to not fulfill some orders.

EDIT: denied again

so how would someone be able to go if not a lottery winner? Let's say I had $10K and wanted to buy a masters ticket (this is definitely not true to life ha), I can't go to a trusted aftermarket site since I wouldn't know the seller? That's wild.

Correct, or at least that's what they are saying.

22 years in a row of rejection.
Even my wife would be proud of that streak.

20+ years in a row – DENIED.

I’ll keep applying, but I pretty much given up.

I’ve decided that I’m going to go to the 2027 British Open at St. Andrews. Can’t get airline tickets or hotels yet, but I’m going.

I received offer to purchase tickets to the Women's Amateur the day it's at Augusta
Is it worth it just to see and walk the course?

I won some practice rounds years ago and ended up giving them to my parents. No luck since

Definitely. I went to the ANWA a few years ago and it was a blast. The course is pretty much empty (relatively speaking) and you can watch anywhere without dealing with a massive crowd.

Stayed for the trophy presentation and got to speak to multiple green jacket members because there just wasn't a mass of people and they were walking around chatting with everyone..

First crack at the gift shop and to top it off, hotel rooms were priced at normal rates. Stayed a mile away from the course for less than $200/night at a hotel.

I'm 0-14 now on the Masters but kinda prefer to win the ANWA going forward after the experience I had.
