Gee, it seems as though Bob cannot get it done without drugs. True to form Medina Spirit folded and Concert Tour was almost last. Do the drugs matter? Yes, so get rid of them. Remember the unbeatable Big Brown? When he ran in the Belmont without the benefit of his drugs, he got destroyed. Unfortunately, the Breeders Cup is in California this fall. I am sure that Bob is already shopping for some undetectable designer drugs, but then again, he won't need them in California.

That is right Horse Meat. I hope that Baffert gets the same treatment that Big Brown's trainer, Dutrow, was given; that would be a ten year suspension from the sport. Baffert truly believes that he is bigger than the sport; I hope the East coast establishment in horse racing brings him down.

baffert has had more horses test positive than dutrow, and had more horses die under his care in a season than dutrow.

The horse came in 3rd. It’s just a shifty year of horses with no clear cut great horse. A long shot nobody even talked about won the Preakness.

When greatest honour went down in the fla trials that was it. Not to mention essential quality chose to skip the Preakness.

How his ride on bourbon and then subsequent return to baffert’s horses hasn’t been questioned more is beyond me

It was pain masking, and hurt horses who don’t feel hurt run faster.
I’d say that enhances performance. In no way will anybody get me to believe it wasn’t a joint injection to an ankle too close to race day.
That’s the common use. Not some obscure dog ear infection cream that made a handy scapegoat
