Being an uptight, freedom hating turd shouldn't be celebrated either.
Drawing the line in the sand for the right to fondle yourself in public - what a show of incredible intestinal fortitude.

If this offends you; then that's a you problem, not a Lynch problem.

Take your uptight opinion and exaggeration someplace else.

Are we talking about courtroom decorum or some dudes playing a game?

I noticed at the time he went to grab his junk yet again on that TD. He just didn't do the backwards dive and grab on that one.
We've got a free country and a first amendment - fine. Still, it's a pretty baby-fied and narcissistic way to express one's self - think it's crude, as well.

1. Pled to "failure to exercise due care toward a pedestrian." Woman was an idiot. No criminal charges brought.
2. California has stupid concealed firearm laws. I would have gotten one when I was in California in Dec.
3. No drug charges were brought.
4. Pled to reckless operation.
My client has bad luck, your honor.

Seems like there's a pretty defensive current in favor of Marshawn playing with himself in public on the basis of (in no particular order): freedom, not being uptight, the times they are a changin', and who gives a frick.
I suppose a logical extension of all of this is that the next guy is going to de-trow and evacuate his bowels for public consideration.
I'll still be SMH and considering what Freud had to say about something like that.
Peace out.

What was that TD celebration all about? Was that Baldwin that came up to hug him and he just kinda brushed him off. Was that choreographed or possibly animosity towards Angry Doug.
It was the turn and dick grab as he crossed the goal line. It was more low key but he did it, and has done more exaggerated versions in the past when he was fined.
I'm pretty sure he did it against the Saints on his long run in the playoff game up there.
No. I saw him grab his junk. Not that. That apparently is his signature move after scoring a big TD. I was talking about the moments after he scored when his teammates ran up and it looked like he pushed Baldwin. It was weird when I saw it. His teammates wanted to celebrate and he was like, nah, get off me.

He does that every time. A teammate comes in looking to hug or whatever and he just shakes their hand. Most of the players get it right. Some get excited and forget.
Think that started last season.

His 'plays' (media stunts, crotch-grabbing) carry no rational consistency. I appreciate his raw and undeniable abilities but my opinion is now that he is motivated more by a petulant narcissicim that anything else.

Reading this thread made me feel dumber.
I'm all for freedom of speech, but I feel like we are going straight into Idiocracy mode when we have people who actually defend a player grabbing his crotch while running into the EZ.
Yes, he has the right to do it, and no, I don't think it is "cool".
The NFL is going full blown WWE with these antics. I thought Sherman's rant last year was too WWE like. The Seahawks beat that this year and then some. I certainly hope the sport isn't going to continue to go this route. If it does, so be it. It is their right....

The main point of the defenders is, who gives a frick? With all the violence, sex and drug use on TV, this is what people get upset about. It was a split second act that most people missed. It's such a petty thing to get upset/annoyed/whatever over.

Meh, it's classless but it's also football. I love flat out disrespect in sports. It ain't the real world, it's entertainment.

The height of idiocy in this thread is the connection to the NFL and public's coming down on Lynch's behavior with the First Amendment.
You may not go to jail for grabbing your junk in public, but you can damn sure be fired if it happens on your employer's dime. It has nothing to do with "freedom" and everything to do with your organizations behavioral policies. "Freedom" has nothing to do with it. Lynch works for an organization, one that has practically given him everything.
Even the people defending Lynch realize that there is a line. The NFL decides how it wants its organization to be, for better or worse.
