Why should he care if the owner doesn't ?

I said Al davis was dumb. I never said he didn.t care. All JR is doing is hurting his future.

This arguement is pretty weak considering JR's numbers are much worse this season than last season.

You know what Sanchez's numbers will be next year?

Don't mistake me for a JR fan. I think he is an epic bust. What I gather from this is that he has regressed big time.

That's one way to put it. Fell the frick off a cliff is another:

BTW, add me to the ranks of those who thinks that the Sanchez hype is out of control. The team is winning despite him, not because of him. His defense and running game have gotten him to where he is.

This Jets team is like the 2000 Ravens, with Sanchez playing the role of Trent Dilfer. He's playing at such a below replacement level that it's not even funny. The only good that can come out of the Sanchez hype is that he will be yet another example of why "wins as a starter" is one of the absolute worst stats in football.

Don't insult Trent like that.

Sanchez has played much worse this year than Trent did that season

True or false?

JR's WRs in college > JR's WRs in the NFL

But then you'd have to list all the shite JR has eaten. We don't have all day for that...

1st year starting is different than being a rookie and starting. You understand the league more, even if you didnt play your first year.

You can say whatever u want about the owner, WR, Oline, ETC.. but Russell isnt even the best QB on his team, enough said.

Trent Dilfer was a LOT better than Sanchez. I don't view these stats as an endorsement of JR, but a ocndemnation of Sanchez. He's a lousy QB who had just lucked out into a great situation (and let's not pretend the Jets are the 1985 Bears... they beat a Bengals team that's been in free fall for two months and a team coached by Norv Turner).

JR is a bust, but the JR defenders are partly correct -- it's not all JR's fault. that doesn't make him good, but the Raiders organization indulged JR's worst instincts and failed to teach him ANYTHING about being an NFL QB. Frye and Gradkowski were also horrible this year. I think JR might be too far gone to salvage his career, but his coaching staffs horribly failed him.

You don't magically become an NFL QB. Someone has to teach you. And, hey, Brady Quinn is just starting to salvage his career, maybe JR can... nah...
