Maryland lands the #1 seed.
There's controversy that Hop. with a mediocre record is still seeded at #6 in D.I.

Inside Lacrosse article

Play-in game last night, Bryant beats Monmouth for the privilege of playing #1 seed Terps.

Is this the end of th 40 year drought?

Who ya got?

I went to MD @ UNC and the Terps looked good. I think they're the best team, but always seem to find a way to lose.
I'd like to see some new blood in the Final Four - Penn St, Albany, Marquette.

Maryland/Cuse final seems inevitable. Although it wouldn't surprise me if Denver turns it on and makes a run to the finals. Syracuse should bury anyone on their side of the bracket.

Hoping for a Maryland W.

Hopkins will always get the benefit of the doubt. They are the Duke or Alabama of lax.

I think this is the year MD doesn't shite the bed and wins it.

Im hoping for Duke (Go Blue Devils), but I think the winner of the qtr. final matchup of ND and Denver will win it all. I went to the DU vs. Duke game in Denver and DU's Connor Cannizzaro is legit. Also DU's FOGO Trevor Baptiste was on team USA as a NCAA player. I was also impressed with their lefty shooter #10 Colton Jackson.

I haven't seen Denver this year, but if they're like the Pioneers of the last three or so years, they can beat anybody if they maintain their discipline and play with a minimum of mistakes (of course that applies to every club, no?) But Denver, when they control themselves and the tempo on offense are pretty much unstoppable.

From the little I've seen, this year, there SEEMS to be a great deal of parity.
I could be wrong, though.

Cannizaro and Batiste are, indeed, two of the best in the game.

ND. vs. Denver...C.C. against (not directly) Perkovic...tasty.

Ohio State has just as good of a chance as the top teams.

I'd like to see them make a run.

Lost in OT in the B1G conference tournament final vs the Terps.

I think Maryland is the best team, but it's hard to pick them with any confidence. Wide open after that.

Yeah, there are no standouts. Denver has the best FOGO in the game (and possibly the best all time) but their goalies are terrible.

Duke is balanced but very young, and I think next year is their year, not this year. Maryland is a legit 1, Ohio State could also be competitive.

Hopkins has a 6 seed is absurd.

Pretty much everyone looked good against UNC when the game was in Chapel Hill.

They're not, but Albany has some amazing offensive firepower, I'm really impressed, it's the first time I see them this year.

Duke's 19-6 win over Hopkins might not even be the most lopsided win of the day

Connor Fields, Trevor Baptiste, and Justin Guterding are all showing they are the best players in college lacrosse.

I wish they got better than an 8 seed. Both them and MD deserve a chance to get to Final 4.

The seeding is screwy all over. Duke as an 11, Albany as an 8, Denver as a 5. The most egregious by far were UNC as a 9, Marquette as a 13 while Hofstra doesn't even get in, and Hopkins as a 6.

Yall think Division I could expand to 32 teams? 16 means teams have to earn it, however there are some good teams sitting home.
