I'm afraid to say what I think might have happened if they opened up the dome like that for our parade. Way too many people for that.

I've got pictures of people standing a mile down the levee from the ferry landing in Algiers trying to get to the ferry and across the river. I gave up and went to the corner bar to watch it.
It took a guy I work with 4 hours to get out of the parking garage in my building after the parade.
