A bearded pro powerlifter entered a women’s competition in Canada — and smashed a record held by a trans lifter who was watching.

quote:

Avi Silverberg, the head coach for Team Canada Powerlifting for more than 10 years, entered Saturday’s Heroes Classic tournament in Lethbridge, Alberta, after identifying as a female.

quote:

Video shared by athlete activist group the Independent Council on Women’s Sports (ICONS) shows him walking up to the platform still fully bearded and wearing a regular men’s singlet.

He then casually bench-pressed nearly 370 pounds — beating the current Alberta women’s record by almost 100 pounds.

That record — 275 pounds — was held by trans athlete Anne Andres, who was seen watching Silverberg while volunteering at the event.
quote:

The trans lifter won eight of nine competitions entered in the women’s category over the last four years, ICONS said.
quote:

ICONS said Silverberg “mocked the discriminatory [Canadian Powerlifting Union] policy” that allows competitors to register for events under their “gender identity and expression, rather than their sex or gender,” vowing “no consequences” for doing so.

Dude is obviously based as shite and just wanted to smash that tranny's record, all while showing the absolute absurdity of it all.

I don’t feel bad for women athletes, most of them vote for this kind of stuff and support this line of thinking. Let them get a crash course in reality

Held by a trans individual, as well.

The real point here is that the Canadian power lifting union or whatever has a “no questions asked” policy. Ie, you can walk up and say you’re a woman and you’re in.

WNBA ratings would probably go up if they hired some "trannies" out of the Euro leagues.

Imagine being a professional lifter and a biological male and thinking it’s a flex to bench 270 lbs.

I know of at least five dudes off hand at my local gym alone that could beat that, including myself, as regular people who have just gone to the gym regularly for years. Probably not in a competition setting without practice, but still the point remains. I’m not sure what these transgendered athletes think they are accomplishing, but it simply isn’t an apples to apples comparison with their biological female counterparts.

This pleases me very much.

Women brought us to this point. It will be left to Women to end this. They won't, so, this incident pleases me.

It's mind-boggling how women went from marching with pussy hats 6 or 7 years ago to giving men women's awards.

That fraud Megan Rapinoe spent roughly the same amount of time screeching about equal pay for women, and now unironically supports trans players in women's soccer. Which would obviously hinder opportunities for actual women. Derp.

You know, since everyone here is 6'4", 260 with 8% body fat, makes over 200K per year, has a ten for a wife, and is on-par with Chuck Norris in Martial Arts.
