Good dunker, I enjoyed the contest last night, he deserved the win.
But the freak out over him is more of a novelty because he's a small white dude who also looks unassuming.
The dunks were fine, but I think most ar overreacting to how good they were, as well as the scores for them. Hell, the judges were all giving completely meh dunks from other dudes 48s and 49s too.

Trey Murphys tomahawk/windmill was arguably the best dunk of the night and no worse than 2nd best.
McClung would have had bssically around the 1st/3rd/5th best dunks and Trey the 2nd/4th

He did well, he deserved the W and I enjoyed it. His performance was nowhere near one of the best collection of dunks we've ever seen.

Imma have to call you out on this. Every single All Star that was standing on the baseline was celebrating Mac and hyping him up. It’s not just you though, the problem is the majority of people look too deep into shite regarding race to the point we can’t celebrate the moment.

So this dunk got a bunch of 50s because we thought we'd never seen it before, but what should it actually get if it's a 360 that we've seen every single dunk contest?

Jumping over the guy sitting on another guys shoulders, slapping the ball off the backboard, and reversing it, was top 5, considering he is 6-2. Event was over after he did that.

Again, it was an impressive dunk, an awesome dunk... no question.
We saw at least 5 dunks better than that in 2016 alone.

I'm one that thinks he should have but those who think Lavine should have won aren't exactly off base imo, they were both THAT good.

Aaron Gordon is half a foot taller than Mac McClung and has a wingspan nearly 10” longer.
What McClung was doing at his size was ridiculous. His head was at the rim on these dunks, just as Gordon’s was.
