All the Bengals head coach has to do is make the decision for him.

Force Joe to take as long as he needs to recover and when the media asks, just tell them Joe was irate about not being able to play but as the coach you have to protect the players from themselves and do what's best for the long term success of the team.

Problem solved.

Trotting him out there to further injure himself while also still losing makes zero sense.

This all can’t be blamed on a strained calf. You are cleared to play and playing. You can’t do this and want to be in the Allen and Mahomes tier

Lowest YPA (4.8) in the NFL.
