What's the word on Carter's injury?

No word yet. They're doing an MRI monday. It doesn't look good from what I've heard.

I don't even remember it. What exactly did he hurt?

Jay Walker posted this on UL's forum and this is what makes me feel like it's very serious.

"I'm not going to speculate about the injury. But, when we immediately get word that a player will not return, it's usually not good.

Not good at all."

He hurt his knee when he fell on the concrete. He stayed down for maybe a minute or less and came up pretty weak looking.

Being from Shreveport, I've made my way over to Ruston to catch a few Tech games. I must say- I highly doubt Tech could ever put that many asses in the seats against Boise, much less this team. Nice showing by the Cajuns.

Sucks. Montrel was looking like a monster.

Hopefully Marcus Jackson and Torrey Pierce are ready to play.

Saw him at the game, he looks very black and muscular. His girlfriend was white and wearing his old jersey. Kind of cute, actually

Montrel is capable of giving us that explosiveness we lacked last year running the ball. Hopefully he is ok or some of the other guys step up because we pretty much know what Harris brings.

Nice to see Terrance Broadway in there.

Gauthier's gotta be a senior, right? I wanna say he was on the roster when I was in school there in '09.

they gave him a raise this past year and if he does well again I wouldn't be surprised to see us throw some more money at him. This team is intense under him.
