So I guess our 3 game series with SEC leader Alabama when we shut them out twice means nothing to you?

Nope, transitive property does nothing for me.

quote:

Cajuns are 6-1 against the RPI Top 50
Cajuns are 11-2 against the RPI Top 100

Tigers are 6-6 against the RPI top 50
Tigers are 11-7 against the RPI top 100

You want a comparison? There it is sir.

Looks like we've played almost double the top 50 you have, as well as almost one and a half times top 100.

Since you are so enfatuated with the fact that we don't compete against the same "elite" competition LSU does every week.

Clearly you don't. Thanks for providing the numbers to back it up.

Do you think yall would consistently outperform LSU right now if you played in our league? Be honest.

Do they not teach English at ULL? Or did I actually need to spell out that consistently obviously implies over more than one season.

It must suck to have to try to get into semantics to claim you're not little brother.

But you were the one that brought up semantics in the first place

My phrasing is correct grammatically and means exactly what I spelled it out to mean. Thanks though.

Another super relevant quote out of the Cajun fanbase.

Transitive property would be claiming that we beat a team that ended up beating Alabama. No, this is direct correlation. We beat Alabama, quite handedly, which is the leader of your conference.

Check your math buddy. You have played 5 games more against "better" competition and have 5 more losses than us in those games. The fact that we are in the middle of conference play shows that your OOC schedule is as much a load of crap as our conference schedule. They offset each other. Those games against grambling, toledo and yale must have been tough.

edit: forgot about that powerhouse in purdue!

Are you or are you not implying that since you beat Alabama you would do well over the entire season? Sounds pretty transitive to me.

6+1=7
6+6=12
7 is almost half of 12, or 12 is almost double 7.

Check your math buddy.

Hmmm.

We also don't play conference series against teams such as those. But let's not let facts get in the way.

LSU's SOS is in the high 70s right now. Cajuns is right near 100. It's not an earth shattering distance number wise. I'm sorry but the whole SOS argument goes out the window when said team is dominating their schedule. It's not like we are 24-14 and are saying we are hot shite. We are 34-4... and have dominated our mediocre schedule. What else do you want us to do? I mean you can only play the games on your schedule.

And the really annoying thing, is that even if we do well in the post season, there will be some new excuse of how we had a weak regional or some shite. It's a never ending story.

It won't be never ending when you actually accomplish something. Until then, stop acting like you are the Louisiana powerhouse, because you aren't.

So now you're projecting your own feelings on me? I never said we were the "Louisiana powerhouse" lol. All I've been doing is defending the notion that we wouldn't compete at the same level against LSU's competition.

It most certainly does not.

As I already stated I suggest basing your arguments around stats....you have a very good case on that especially offensively.
